REGISTRATION SEMINARS

My dog meets these requirements. *My dog will be on leash at all times unless appropriate for a class activity. *Dogs should wear a regular collar, harness or head harness. Retractable leads and correction style collars are not allowed. (unless approved by Sumac due to extenuating circumstances) *​Please be respectful of other dogs personal space needs. Do not allow dogs to meet on leash. *Bring poop bag supplies and plan to take waste with you. *Harsh physical or verbal corrections are not allowed. A harsh correction will be defined as one that causes an obvious adverse reaction from the dog or offends the sensibilities of the instructor. * Sumac reserves the right to ask any participant to leave the grounds because of dangerous, disruptive or unmanageable behavior. (Without refund)

AGGRESSION - MY DOG HAS NO KNOWN HISTORY OF AGGRESSION. THIS INCLUDES ANY INCIDENTS OF NIPPING, GROWING, SHOWING OF TEETH, LUNCHING OR INTENT TO DO HARM. (Puppies under 5 months of age may exhibit mouthing and playful grabbing and growling and is not considered aggression) Please contact Sumac prior to registering if this is in question. I UNDERSTAND THAT FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL - IN THE EVENT MY DOG EXHIBITS AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR WHILE ON THE GROUNDS HE/SHE WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE GROUNDS IMMEDIATELY AND AND ALL REMAINING CLASSES.

WELLNESS POLICY- My dog is healthy and free of parasites. My dog is current with state required vaccinations. (Puppies may not be and are not required to be fully vaccinated due to age and veterinary recommendations). ILLNESS -I will not bring my dog to class if he/she is showing any signs of illness (including coughing) parasites or fleas. BITCHES IN SEASON - Bitches in season may not attend class. HUMAN HEALTH - In the event I am not feeling well or exhibiting any symptoms of illness I agree not to attend class. I will notify Sumac if this is occurs.

I understand dog training is not without risk. I (we) agree to hold Wag It Inc., Sumac Grant-Johnson, officers, directors, agents and any employees of the aforementioned parties, staff, volunteers, harmless from any claim or loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of the dog or handler while on the grounds. I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim. I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss of this dog by disappearance, theft, death or otherwise, and from any claim for damage or injury to the dog, whether such loss, disappearance, appearance, theft, damage, or injury be caused or alleged to be caused by the negligence of the parties aforementioned, or by the negligence of any other person, or any other cause or causes. I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify and save the aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death resulting at any time there from, sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of damage to property arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this event, howsoever such injuries, death, or damage to property may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or may have been alleged to have been caused by negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees or agents or any other persons.
